ice bath at 3°C or 6°C · 90°C sauna · shared slot, up to 4 guests
The ice bath is the point of this session — real cold at 3°C or 6°C, not a token dip. The 90°C sauna is what gets you warm enough to make the cold count. One round of sauna and ice bath, 25 minutes total — enough for a lunch break, a gap between meetings, or a quick stop after the gym. Each time slot is shared with up to 4 guests, so spots are limited: same-day availability is common, but booking ahead is the surest way in. You might also know it as a cold plunge — same cold, different name.
Want the full ritual with two rounds? The 55-minute session covers that. Want the whole spa for your group? Book the private spa for an hour.

When you’re ready
Change and warm in. About 5 minutes.
About 14 minutes. Settle in, breathe slow.
3 minutes at 3°C or 6°C — your choice.
Rinse, dress, back to your day. About 3 minutes.
We’re open every day — Monday to Friday 07:00–22:00, Saturday and Sunday 08:00–21:00 — so there’s always room for an evening session.
A few minutes in the ice bath between meetings cuts straight through the fog. The 90°C sauna beforehand gets you warm enough to make the cold count — walk in tense, walk out clear.
The ice bath is why people come back after training — 3°C or 6°C, your call — while the sauna keeps the whole cycle from feeling like a cold shock without warm-up.
New to ice bath? This is the easy way in: warm up in the 90°C sauna, then step into 6°C for your first cold exposure. Drop to 3°C later, on your own timeline.
Already comfortable with the ice bath? 25 minutes — one round of sauna and cold — is the maintenance dose, quick enough to fit into a daily or weekly rhythm.
About the 25-minute session.
Two ice baths, kept at 3°C and 6°C. Most people start at 6°C and step into 3°C once they know their pace. Both are real ice — actually cold.
Roughly 5 minutes to arrive and change, 14 minutes in the 90°C sauna, 3 minutes in the ice bath at 3°C or 6°C, and 3 minutes to rinse and dress. One sauna-and-ice-bath round, well-paced, 25 minutes door to door.
Each 25-minute slot is shared with up to 4 guests, so space is limited. Same-day booking is often possible, but booking ahead is the surest way to get the time you want.
Swimwear is required, always — our sauna is mixed. Bring a towel, or rent one for €4. Slippers are optional — we don’t provide them. Full details are in Good to know below.
Pick 25 minutes for one round of sauna and ice bath — a lunch break or a stop after the gym. Pick 55 minutes if you want to settle in for two rounds with rest in between, the fuller ritual. Both use the same sauna and the same two ice baths — it’s a question of how much time you’ve got.
Beulingstraat 21H — tucked into the 9 Straatjes, a five-minute walk from Spui, in the middle of Amsterdam centrum.
Yes. Yskamer’s sauna is mixed, and swimwear is required for everyone. If you’ve ever hesitated about a textile-free sauna, this makes the decision easy — you always know exactly what to expect before you walk in.
Yes. We’re open Monday to Friday 07:00–22:00, and Saturday and Sunday 08:00–21:00 — plenty of evening slots to fit around your workday.
